A Fight Unit of the Royal Moroccan Navy intercepted, on January 16, about 285 km southwest of Dakhla, a canoe with 65 Sub-Saharan Africans on board, together with two minors, in search of irregular migration.
In keeping with a press launch from the Basic Employees of the Royal Armed Forces, the rescued people, who have been heading in direction of the Canary Islands, acquired the mandatory support earlier than being transported to the Port of Dakhla and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures.
